The General Library is the largest library in the University Library system, and houses a number of notable collections. The New Zealand and Pacific and Mātauranga Māori research collections are located adjacent to the Library’s Special Collections on Level G, providing convenient access to quality resources with a strong New Zealand and Pacific focus. The physical map collection is housed in the David Rumsey Map Center at the Stanford University Library. The historical map collection has over 96, maps and related images online. The collection includes rare 16th through 21st century maps of America, North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Pacific, Arctic, Antarctic, and the World. The General Collection has books on a wide variety of subjects that support the Ball State curriculum. This is the largest book collection in the Libraries and located throughout Bracken Library’s second, third, and fourth floors.
